How ZombieCouple Videos Are Made: AI Models and Steps

ZombieCouple turns two photos into one zombie couple video in two steps. Scene previews are made with Google Nano Banana 2.1, and videos with Kling 3.0 by Kuaishou (Kling 3.0 Standard for Standard, Kling 3.0 Pro for HD), both run through fal.ai.

Step 1: your two photos become a scene still

Model: Google Nano Banana 2.1, run through fal.ai.

Your two photos and the scene you pick go to Google Nano Banana 2.1, which draws one still image of the dark scene with both of you in it. That still is your free scene preview, so you see both faces before you spend anything. A paid video starts from a scene still made the same way.

Step 2: the scene still becomes a video with sound

Model: Kling 3.0 by Kuaishou, run through fal.ai. Standard uses Kling 3.0 Standard (720p) and HD uses Kling 3.0 Pro (1080p).

Kling 3.0 receives the scene still, your two photos as face references and the scene's prompt, and animates the still into the whole story in one generation: the turn, the cut to a warm memory of the two of you, and the embrace. Every video comes with a cinematic soundtrack and ambient sound. You can still swap in a trending sound when you post.

Ready within 5 minutes. HD 15-second videos take up to 10 minutes. You can close the page; the video appears in My Videos.

No prompts to write

Each scene is a fixed template we wrote. Your photos and the scene, quality, length and format you choose fill it in, so there is no free-text prompt and the story beats land the same way every time.

Two safety checks

1. Every photo you upload goes through fal.ai's NSFW image classifier before it is stored. A rejected photo is never kept.
2. Every scene still goes through the same classifier before it is used.

Google and Kuaishou may also run their own safety checks on what they receive. The content policy lists what is not allowed.

Your photos and videos

• Uploaded photos are deleted 24 hours after upload.
• Scene previews are kept 7 days and videos 30 days, so download the ones you want to keep.
• We do not use your photos to train any model.
• Your photos, previews and videos are private to your account. We never publish them.
